Manny’s: A Civic Home for San Francisco

The idea was so successful that he expanded it to twelve other corridors citywide. </li></ul>

<h3>We all know San Francisco is the greatest city in the world, but you probably also know how hard it is to afford to choose San Francisco.</h3>San Francisco isn’t great just because of how it looks or what you can do here, it’s great because of what it represents—a place for people to be themselves. This city gave me a place to start over. It gave me a chosen family, a community, and a home. It gave me the chance to build something—a small business, a life, roots in a neighborhood I love. And for the past 14 years, every time I needed to take the next step, I found a way to stay. I was lucky.But that’s the problem. I had to be lucky. The question I keep asking myself is:<h3>Could the version of me who chose San Francisco 14 years ago still move here today?</h3>
